Who we are

CAEP is the national voice of emergency medicine.  For over 30 years, CAEP has represented and educated Emergency Physicians in an effort to better the care provided to the Canadian public.

A membership with CAEP is open to physicians practicing full or part-time emergency medicine, resident's engaged in post-graduate training in emergency medicine and medical students with an interest in emergency medicine. Individuals who have an interest in emergency medicine are also able to hold a membership with CAEP.

Why CAEP needs the emergency medicine community

Increased membership results in a stronger, more unified voice, and an increased ability to strengthen CAEP’s position as a leader in emergency medicine.  From this, we will have the resources necessary to create more CME Roadshows, develop guidelines & position statements, and have more tools to assist physicians.
