The Canadian Association of Emergency Physicians (CAEP) is committed to respecting the personal privacy of individuals who visit our web site. The following summarizes CAEP's privacy policy and practices.
CAEP's website does not automatically gather any personal information from you, such as your name, telephone number, email or street address during your visit. This information may only be obtained if you supply it voluntarily, by sending us email or by registering for a CAEP event.
All personal information you do provide is protected under the federal Privacy Act and the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act. CAEP uses software that receives and records the Internet Protocol (IP) addresses of computers that have connected to our web site. We make no attempt to link these addresses to the identities of individuals visiting our website unless an attempt to damage the site has been detected.
Visitor information is not disclosed to anyone except CAEP personnel and its agents who need to know the information in order to respond to your request.
