Dr. Sachin Trivedi is an emergency physician, transport physician with STARS Air Ambulance, and Associate Professor at the University of Saskatchewan. A graduate of the University of Saskatchewan’s medical school and emergency medicine residency program, he also holds a Master of Science in Healthcare Quality from Queen’s University. Since completing his training in 2020, he has quickly emerged as a national leader in quality improvement and patient safety (QIPS), serving as Provincial Lead for Quality Improvement and Patient Safety in Emergency Medicine and Chair of CAEP’s Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Committee.

Dr. Trivedi is widely recognized for his contributions to quality improvement scholarship, medical education, and health-system leadership. He has developed and published an innovative QIPS curriculum for emergency medicine residents, led numerous system improvement initiatives, and authored a growing body of research focused on patient safety, emergency department operations, and healthcare quality. His leadership extends from the bedside to the provincial level, where he works collaboratively with physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, and administrators to improve patient care and emergency department performance.
