Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Committee

The CAEP Quality Improvement & Patient Safety (QIPS) Committee is a national group of emergency medicine providers dedicated to improving patient care outcomes through quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

​

The Committee focuses on three key pillars:

  • Building a national community of practice to foster collaboration and networking among EM providers.

  • Providing educational tools and opportunities to support QIPS projects and professional development.

  • Disseminating meaningful standards of care to enhance patient safety and quality in emergency medicine.

Through its initiatives, the Committee works to advance safer, higher-quality care for patients across Canada.
