The New Oncology Emergencies: Toxicities Associated with Immunotherapies for Cancer
Learning Objectives:
At the end of the session, participants will be able to:

Identify newer classes of immunotherapy being used for cancer treatment, with a focus on immune checkpoint inhibitors, BiTES, and CAR-T (Medical Expert, Scholar, Health Advocate)

Review a practical approach to the emergency department management of toxicities associated with newer cancer treatments, disposition of patients, and importance of coordination with oncology (Medical Expert, Collaborator, Scholar, Health Advocate)
Falling Through the Cracks: A Look at Geriatric Trauma and Falls
Learning Objectives:
At the end of the session, participants will be able to:

Understand the role of CT brain and C spine imaging in older populations with the current evidence (Medical Expert)

Confidently perform a falls evaluation in the ED on an older patient (Medical Expert)

Weigh the pros and cons of C-spine immobilization in older populations (Medical Expert)
