From rural clinics to urban trauma centres, this accredited webinar series brings together diverse voices to explore clinical innovations, health equity, and the future of emergency care in Canada. High-Risk, Hard to See: Managing Hidden Trauma Threats in the ED

Learning Objectives:

At the end of the session, participants will be able to:

  1. Summarize evidence regarding screening, diagnosis, and management of blunt cerebrovascular injury (Medical Expert)

  2. Differentiate which patients with rib fracture are at risk of deteriorating and require closer monitoring (Scholar)

  3. Apply guidelines to understand which trauma patients with pneumothorax and hemothorax  require a chest tube (Medical Expert)
